Amnesiac Wife
She started her day like usual; cleaned her house, had her lunch, and went to the study room to start a new topic. She was quite determined to finish the work before the deadline until the computer gave up. It was the sixth time Mrs. Beckett restarted the system, and it did not work, and she was facing the same problem for a few months. She left the room in anguish as she was feeling helpless and went straight into the kitchen.
After a few minutes, she came out of the kitchen with a mug in her right hand and a pill in the other. The fragrance was enough to tell it was a strong black coffee, she was taking. She sank helplessly on the sofa and her eyes staring at her wedding photo were deep enough to display the isolation inside them. I have been continuously asking him to repair my computer for three days, but this man can never listen to me, She murmurs. Then, reluctantly moves towards the landline and dials the only number she knows.
Hello – she hesitantly says.
Yes, ma’am! How may I help you – the receiver replies.
Can I speak to a mechanic, my computer is not working well – she says agitated.

She narrates the problem and shouts at the receiver because it is not the first time she has registered this complaint. The receiver tries to calm her down and says:

It brings a smile on her face, and she sweetly asks, if there is a mechanic out there.
Ma’am, it’s a hardware engineer. I am one, and I will reach your place in an hour.
Oh! That would be very helpful to you. Actually my husband is also is a computer mechanic, sorry! hardware engineer.
Okay, ma’am, I would be there.
This gives her some peace, and she starts preparing her home for a guest. She makes sure that she and her hall are looking presentable, as she changes her dress and sofa covers as well. After preparing for dinner, she went back to her favorite sofa and stars reading a magazine.
Mrs. Beckett does not even blink while she reads, and keeps staring at the pages as if to eat each alphabet with her eyes. A sudden sound disturbs her and she returns to reality. As she moves her gaze, she saw someone open the door and was entering the house. She consciously left her sofa and moved towards to door to stop him.
Who are you? She asked
Don’t you know? He said
How would I? Please tell unless I will call the security- she threatens him.
Do you remember that you called someone to repair your computer?
Oh, I am so sorry! Are you a computer mechanic?
Its a hardware engineer! He replied furiously.
I am so so so sorry about that. Actually, I have a problem. Please come inside. What would you like to have, Tea or Coffee?
Oh, that’s so sweet of you ma’am.
Aree! don’t be embarrassed. Tell me, you must be tired.
Hey No! Don’t sit on the left sofa, that’s mine. Take this one.
Okay! Sorry, I must remember that.
It’s okay. Let me bring coffee to you. Just give me 5 minutes. She says this and moves toward to kitchen.
He eagerly waits for her, and his eyes started glittering as she comes.
